Program: First & third Wednesdays of each month, plus some evening/weekend commitments.

Open to high school students.

This is a fairly detailed application and will take between 15-45 minutes to complete. You will be asked to submit your contact information, parent/guardian/emergency contact information, references, and a few short answer questions. Please take your time. We recommend you complete your application all in one sitting, but if you begin your application and save it as a draft, you will need to go to the YAB site and click 'apply' to access your saved draft. It might help you to answer the questions first in a separate document and then copy and paste into the application when you are ready.

Application Questions (400 words max):

  • Why do you want to become a YAB member?
  • What aspects of pop culture excite you the most?
  • What excites you most about community and collaboration?
  • What are you hoping to get out of the program?
  • YAB meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Provide information on your other commitments and if you can commit to the YAB schedule.
